looking north from the downtown intersection. grand ave. coming in on the left. the building on the for right was the big smith brothers restaurant. whenever we mentioned port washington to nancy's relatives, they said eat at smith brothers. great seafood. we were all excited but when we got there we discovered they have been closed for 5 years.

Looking down wisconsin St from Monroe St. intersection. there used to be a water tower but Mr ford said it was torn down years ago. i remember a grocery store down the street but there is a pizza hut there now.

we weren't there 30 seconds when this guy came out from directly across the street wanting to know what we were up to. i told him and he said he remembered the Carbo's. he said his daughter, Tracy, used to play with one our girls. he said he was one of the four original home owners still on the street
